Zena Merle Wooding, 75 of Bridgeville, DE, departed this life on Monday, July 13, 2015 at the home of her son and daughter in-law, Leonard and Sandra Wooding.\n \n\n\n\n\n\n Born January 5, 1940 in Trinidad Tobago, daughter of the late Aziz Ali and Lucretia Smith. She received her education in the public schools in Trinidad where she graduated. Fondly known as Momma Z, in 1977 she relocated to Baltimore, Maryland where she worked for Forest Haven Nursing Home as a Nursing Aide. Her hobbies were Bingo, fishing and playing cards. Later she relocated to Easton, Maryland until her health failed.\n \n\n\n\n\n\n In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Joan Gibson.\n \n\n\n\n\n\n She leaves to cherish her memory her son and daughter in-law, Leonard and Sandra Wooding, whom she resided with in Bridgeville, Delaware; two other children, Nancy and Everard; four sisters, Velma Ali Kensingle, Audrey, Carmena, Sonia and Janet; a special friends, Gwen Johnson, Joe and Iris Johnson and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
