William Talbot Wilson, affectionately known as Talbot, passed away on Wednesday October 7, 2026.
He was born August 23, 1938, in Oxford Maryland to the late Helen Marie Butler and James Edward Wilson.
Talbot was married to his devoted wife Teresa A. Wilson for 39 loving years, in the midst of God, family, and friends. January 10, 2027 they would’ve celebrated 40 years of marriage with never-ending love, laughter, and faith.
Talbot was employed at Chesapeake Trucking Inc for many years as a local truck driver hauling stones until he retired in 2012. He was a devoted man of faith and served as an Elder at Greater Chief Cornerstone Temple Church of Cambridge until his passing. His love and relationship with the Lord never wavered.
Above all, Talbot’s greatest passions were driving trucks, admiring race cars, taking walks around the neighborhood, and watching Cowboy Westerns. You could find him watching Westerns every day. If he ever came to visit, he would say, “Do you have cowboys on your tv”.
He also loved spending time with his family; whether it was outside in the garden with his wife, taking drives with his brother Aker, or waiting for his great-granddaughter Ariyana to stop by with some treats.
Though, he has departed this earthly life, his love, affectious smile, generous spirit, loving heart and laughter will carry on.
William Talbot Wilson leaves to cherish: his wife Teresa A. Wilson; four sons, Dwight Wilson (Tehara), William Wilson Jr., James Wilson, and Eric Pierce (Nikki); three daughters, Marlisa Freeman, Shenetta Conyer, and Bonita Greene (John); a brother Aker Wilson (Joan), and a sister Martha Stanford; fifteen grandchildren, and a host of great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Preceding him in death was his mother Helen Butler; father James Wilson; four brothers, Leon Wilson, Avon Wilson, Morris Wilson, James Wilson; two sisters, Catherine Frazier and Leah Thomas; one son Anthony Walters; one daughter Kim Walters Robbins; and one grandson Anbarti Ross Walters.
