William Edward Freeman, departed this life on Mon. December 10, 2012 at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. William "Bill" was born on April 28, 1944, son of the late Frisby Sr. and Margaret Young Freeman in Trappe, Maryland. William was educated in the public schools of Talbot County. He worked several years in Chester, PA as a certified welder. Upon his return to Easton, Maryland, he was employed at Calhoon MEBA Engineering for 38 years, before retiring in 2005. William was a loving husband, father, brother and friend. He enjoyed sports, hunting, cooking and spending time with family and friends. He became an active member of Robinson AME Church in Grasonville, MD, where he sang with the Male Chorus until his health declined. He leaves to mourn his loss, his loving wife of 29 years, Emma Jean; four sons, Aundray, C ordell Troy, William Jr.; two daughters, Denise and Valerie; three daughters in-law; 29 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; three brothers, Roland, Vernon and Anthony Freeman; four sisters, Catherine Jones, Alice Blake, Ellen Jenkins and Joyce Johns; four brothers in-law; six sisters in-law and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012 12 noon at Robinson AME Church Grasonville with a viewing Friday evening 6-8pm. Interment in the church cemetery.
