Westine Normalee Kane departed this life on January 16, 2015 at NMS Healthcare in Annapolis.\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n She was born July 23, 1938 in Madison, MD. Westine was the daughter of the late James Opher and Jessie McCoy. She received her education in Dorchester Public School. Westine was employed with McCrory Department Store 13 years and the Salvation Army until her health begin to fail. Her hobbies were playing Bingo, shopping and riding with her daughter. She was famous for her rice pudding that everyone loved.\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n Westine leaves to cherish fond memories with five children whom she loved with all her heart: Edwin Kane (Angela) of Easton, Lynell Kane and Phyllis Rodriquez of Cambridge, Eric Kane (LaTonya) and Timothy McCoy (Dyzancler) McCoy of Hurlock; two brothers: Price McCoy and Jame McCoy (Mona Lisa) of Cambridge; four step children: Louis McCoy, Nathaniel Flethcher, Don Fletcher (Wanda) and Phillip Fletcher; nine grandchildren: Benito Jr., Kayeka and DeVonte Rodriquez, Edwin Kane Jr. Eche Kane, Eric Kane, Jr., Kazyer Kane, Keyshawn Johnson, and ZaKyla Kane; one god daughter: La’Mira Spriggs of Cambridge; nine great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n A funeral service is schedule Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 11:00 am with a viewing two hours prior to the service at The Apostolic Movement Church in Jesus Christ, 900 Peachblossom Ave, Cambridge. District Elder Samuel Brisco, Jr. will officiate. Interment will be in Malone Cemetery in Madison.
