Wanda Jean Hackett, fifth daughter of the late Robert and Betty Hackett was born on June 17, 1958 in Cambridge, Maryland. She departed her earthly life on Tuesday, June 23, 2009.\n \n Wanda graduated from Cambridge Senior High School in 1976. She attended Towson State University, School of Business and completed a computer science program.\n \n She was raised in Waugh United Methodist Church in Cambridge, Maryland. As an adult, Wanda was baptized and became a member of the First Charity Baptist Church in Baltimore, Maryland.\n \n Her earthly life presented many challenges, but Wanda persevered and did her best. She had a quiet spirit, a beautiful smile and was loved by all. She was known for her neatness and organizational skills. Wanda loved to dance and have fun with her family and friends.\n \n Wanda leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Shamelle; three grandchildren, Quentin, Alana and Rodney, III; five sisters, Sharon, Connie, Kathy, Vickie and Laurie; a godson, Gary; three brothers in-law, Alan, Adrian and Charles and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and Class Mates of 1976 and many friends.\n \n Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2009 7:30pm at First Charity Baptist Church in Baltimore, MD with a viewing A� hour prior to the services.
