Walter F. Milton, 67, passed away at the University of Maryland Shore Medical Center in Easton. He was born on March 3, 1949 and departed this life on April 12, 2016 after a brief illness. He was the son of the late Mary A. Martin Milton and Perry E. Milton.\n \n\n Walter received his education in Talbot County Public Schools. He was a 1971 graduate of the University of Maryland Eastern Shore.\n \n\n Walter taught Physical Education in Talbot County Public Schools for three years. Afterwards, he worked for Baltimore Construction Company, Black and Decker, and The Department of Natural Resources in the State of Maryland. After working for the State of Maryland for over twenty years, he retired and began working for Home Instead Senior Care.\n \n\n He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and a sister, Elois I. Milton. He was a wonderful husband, son, brother and friend.\n \n\n Walter was loved and respected by all who met him. He was an avid vegetable gardener, loved sports. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, gaming activities and spending time with family and friends.\n \n\n Fond and loving memories of Walter are cherished by his loving and devoted wife, Bennie Mary Milton (Trappe, MD); two brothers, Perry (Oakland, CA) and Kevin (Baltimore, MD); two sister, Corinna Murray (Randallstown, MD) and Valerie Bethel (Austin, TX); three nephews, Alex Murray (Gail) of Baltimore, MD, Jeffrey Milton (Carolyn) of Easton, MD and Lewellyn Richie (Oakland, CA); two nieces, Nicole Murray and Courtney Milton and three great nieces, Tia Wheatley, Ericka Milton (also God daughter) and Zaiya Murray and two other God daughters, Tiara Adams (Ivytown) and Nikki Shannon (Gastonia, NC); four aunts, Martha Avery, Thelma Martin, Jewel Henry, Bea Martin and June Russell; three uncles, Louis Martin, Oswald Martin (Jean) and Harry Martin; a great uncle, Donald Gardner (Louise); a dear friend and brother in Christ, Arnold Green and numerous cousins and friends.
