Virginia Elaine Pinder, "Ginny", 65 of Cambridge, MD, passed away on Tues., February 5, 2013 after a lengthy illness. She was born June 25, 1947 in Cambridge, MD, daughter of the late George Lin Downes and Eva Virginia Burton. During her early years she attended to school in Queens, New York where she lived most of her young life. Virginia was employed with Rob Roy's Clothing factory in Cambridge, MD until they closed, Airpax until she was laid off and her latter years as a domestic worker for other families within the area until she became ill. Virginia was a member of New Life Christian Church and ministries in Cambridge where she served on the Usher Board, Missionaries and the Fellowship Choir. She leaves to mourn her husband of 45 years, Russell Pinder (Cambridge, MD); three children, Yolanda Hall (Rodney), Cambridge, MD, Michelle Sampson (Staccato), Bridgeville, DE and Anissa Pinder (Harry), Seaford, DE; seven grandchildren, Jasmine Rosario (Tyree), Dover, DE, Rod'Neshia Hall (Seaford, DE), Harry Rosario Jr. (Fayetteville, NC, Charelle Hall (Cambridge, MD), Andre Rosario (Seaford, DE), Edguardo Rodriquez (Virginia) and Antonio Rodriquez (Nina), Millsboro, DE; one brother, Eugene Burton (Cheryl), Baltimore, MD; one sister, Detra Brison-Norman (James), Avondale, PA and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; two special friends, Maude Sampson and Margrete Ann Marcus. Services will be held Sat., February 16, 2013 1pm at New Life Christian Church and Ministries with a viewing two hours prior. Interment in Bethel Cemetery.
