Tyrone Dexter Davis, 54, departed this life on Wednesday, November 27, 2013. Born August 14, 1959, he was the son of the late Charles "Vernon" Davis Sr., and Nicie Mae Davis of Cambridge. Tyrone attended Dorchester County Public Schools, graduating in 1977 from Cambridge-South Dorchester High School.\n \n Upon graduation he attended Salisbury State College but discontinued his studies before graduating with the desire to complete his education in the future. That desire was realized as he graduated with honors from Strayer University, May of 2006 with a B.S. degree in Information Technology.\n \n Prior to this Tyrone enjoyed his working career as a Quality Control Technician at Freudenberg Wheaton in Salisbury, MD. He continued employment with several other companies, including Sweetheart Cup, Nabisco, Shasta, and Pepsi. He successfully climbed the ladder of Quality Control to become, at his death, a Quality Systems Analyst with Medifast in Owings Mills, MD.\n \n Tyrone experienced numerous challenges with his physical health and with the consequences of life decisions. Through these he came to realize he could not succeed on his own and gave his life to Christ in the late 1990's. His walk with the Lord helped him to cope with the continuous challenges of the present while keeping him hopeful and focused on the future.\n \n Tyrone is survived by his mother, Nicie M. Davis, Cambridge; two brothers, Frederick Davis (Brenda), Cambridge, and Merle Davis, Cambridge; two sisters, Alice Mitchell (Calvin Sr.), Cambridge and Niccene Farrow (Tyrus), Cambridge; sister-in-law Pearlie Davis, Bridgeville, DE; four first generation nieces, Cheryl Davis, Norfolk, VA, Vernelle Hawkins (Lance), Baltimore, Tamu Davis, Cambridge, Brooke Davis, Cambridge; four first generation nephews, Charles Davis III, Florida, Calvin Mitchell Jr. (Alisha), Bowie, Tyrus Farrow Jr. (Amy), Pittsburg, PA, and Ayron Farrow, Westminster; one uncle Calvin Molock, Cambridge; one aunt, Ruth Braxton, Cambridge; and numerous second generation nieces, nephews and a host of cousins.\n \n He is preceded in death by his father Charles V.
