Reflection of Our Beloved Timmy Timothy Gordon Stafford A Time To Be Born Timothy "Timmy" Gordon Stafford, son of Barbara I. and the late Vivian H. Stafford. Was born on March 4, 1956 in Cambridge, Maryland. He was educated through the Baltimore City Public School System.\n \n A Time To Love\t Timmy met the woman which would become his wife, Anna Marie Jones, they were united in Holy Matrimony. From this union one son Timothy G. Stafford II.\n \n Timmy was employed at Giant Foods for 27 years. While working for Giant, Timmy took up calligraphy and sold his art at Flea Markets all over the world. Timmy retired from Giant Foods and at the time of his death was employed with Hedwin Corporation.\n \n A Time To Serve and Praise Timmy began his Christian walk at the Rock International Family Church where both he and his son were baptized together. As he matured in Christ, the Lord called him to Redemption Christian Fellowship as an intercession. Later he was called to the Sword of the Spirit where he remained a member until his passing.\n \n Timmy was a dedicated man of God. He witnesses every time he had a chance to everyone who would listen to him. He was an excellent father, a loving husband, son, brother and nephew and wonderful friend to many. Through his journey of life, God has placed many people in Timmy's path. He touched their lives in someway. Even though there were obstacles in his way, God saw him through it all. The last thing Timmy would want us to do is mourn, but he would want us to just imagine him just walking around Heaven all day. His favorite song was "Because Of Who You Are."\n \n A Time To Rest When Timmy had completed his work here on earth he heard the Master's call and swiftly went to his Heavenly home in Glory early in the morning on February 8, 2011 he took God's hand for eternal rest.\n \n Left to Remember Timmy will be deeply missed. He leaves to cherish his memory, one son, Timothy Stafford II; a wife, Anna "Maria" Jones Stafford; his mother, Barbara I. Stafford; two brothers, Terry (Janet) and Tracy Stafford; grandmother, Irene Wilson; step grandmother, Louise Stafford; eight aunts; three uncles; two nieces, Terrika Stafford and Jada Smith; one great aunt, Gladys Stafford; one great niece; three great nephews; a special friend, Vicky Jolley and a host cousins and friends. Timmy leaves to us, his loved ones and friends a legacy of love, hope, wisdom and infinite courage.\n \n Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 11, 2011 7pm at Mt. Zion UM Church 3050 Liberty Heights Ave Baltimore, MD with a viewing one hour prior. Interment Saturday, 2pm in Jefferson Cemetery Taylor's Island, MD with a viewing one hour prior at New Revived UM Church (Smithville).
