Tankaria Lyons Obituary (1983

Our Beloved Tankaria La’Shy Lyons was born Sept. 29, 1983 to the late Rodney Neal and Pamela Lyons. She departed this earthly life into Eternal Rest Wednesday, June 10, 2015. She was educated in the public schools of Dorchester County and a graduate of Cambridge South Dorchester High School. “Shy”, as she was affectionately called, attended Job Corp and received a Culinary Arts Certificate. At the time of her passing she was employed at Amick Farms for 10 years in Hurlock, MD. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Zi’Niyia Lyons, her father, Rodney Neal, her grandparents, Odessa and John Lyons Sr., Mary Alice Carr and Robert Neal, aunts, Rosalyn Lyons and Grace Norris and cousin, Preston Keene III. Tankaria Lyons leaves to cherish her memories, her mother, Pamela Lyons; three sisters, Shanyra Lyons, LaTasha Neal and Miniiuah “Missy” Neal; one brother, Rodney Lyons; three uncles, Anthony Singletary “Charity”, John Lyons Jr. (Michelle), Keith Brown, Dennis Norris and DeWayne Norris; 13 aunts, Belinda Lyons (Boston, MA), Ververly, Latanya and Sharon Lyons (all of Cambridge, MD), Eileen Wainwright (Preston, MD), Deneine Norris (Cambridge, MD); three goddaughters, Kazmiere Stanley, Tynaja McKnight and Viniyah Murry; one godson, Taquan Pinder; aunts, Laverne Strawberry (Baltimore, MD), Myra Neal, , Tracy Molock (Derrick), Hurlock, MD, Samantha Blake (Cambridge, MD); great aunts, Anna Mae Dockins, Helen Harmon and Cora Seigle; great uncle, Gelbert Jones, Henry Nord (Zena) and Norman Nord (Judy) and a host of other relatives and friends.
