Tanica Charnetelle Jones was the daughter of Janet Jones and Wilbert Cain. Tanica was born in Easton, Maryland on September 24, 1969. She departed this life on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, MD.\n \n Tanica was educated in Queen Anne's County Public Schools. She loved to sing on the high school chorus for the 4 years she attended, graduating June 5, 1987. Tanica attended Fleet Business School and Strayer University and then she proceeded into the work field. She began work at Delmarva Sash and Door in the early 90's. She then decided to move her family to New Castle, DE. to start a new life. Tanica was also employed at the Circuit Court in Centreville, Md. Her last job before she became ill was at Connective Telephone Company. In her spare time she loved spending time with her daughters.\n \n At an early age, she was a member of United House of Prayer. Then she became a member of Faith Unity Fellowship Ministries, where she was a faithful member and loved to attend until she became ill. She was a member of Voices of Unity, The Singles Ministry, and the Usher Board.\n \n On May 23, 2003, she came down with a sudden rare illness. She recovered for awhile and came back to church, singing and ushering. As the years went by, her illness progressed where she had good and bad days. Through it all, she kept the faith. She never lost her desire to hear the word of God. Tanica loved being out and around her family as much as she could. Even though she was in constant pain she never complained.\n \n Tanica was preceded in death by her stepfather, Roland Bailey Sr., a grandson, Amaul Gordon Jr., aunt, Doretha Foreman, a special cousin, James Cain Jr. and a special friend, Jeanette Lee.\n \n She leaves to cherish her memory, two daughters a�" Leslie Bell and Marsha 'Jones of Centreville, MD; one grandson a�" Za'Myire Gordon of Centreville, MD; mother - Janet Bailey of Centreville, MD; father- Wilbert Cain (Alfreda) of Newark, DE; two brothers a�" Roland Bailey Jr. (Jennifer) of Greensboro, MD and Travis Bailey (Letitcia) of Church Hill, MD; one sister a�" Cher Cain of Centreville, Md; three step sisters a�" Dijonay Bailey of Centreville, MD, Mechelle Rochester of Newark, DE and Karen Gould of Elkton, MD and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.\n \n Services will be Sat. Oct. 27th 1pm at Robinson AME Church Grasonville, MD with a viewing two hours prior. Interment in Chester Cemetery Chester, MD.
