Shiree Morton Obituary (1970 - 2013)

Shiree Denise Morton, 42, of here died February 28, 2013, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. Born in Salisbury, she was the daughter of Purnell Morton and YvonneConway of Salisbury. Shiree graduated from James M. Bennett High School in 1988. She was joined in Holy Matrimony to Nathan Showell in July 2001. Shiree worked for the Blind Industries in Salisbury up until her untimely death. In addition to her husband and parents, Shiree leaves to cherish her memories two sons, Deonte Hargis of Salisbury, and Justin Bryant of Westover; twin daughters Sha'Kira and Ta'Kira Morton of Salisbury; four sisters Telicia (Dupree) Bennett-Maycock, Nichelle Johnson, Lucresia Smith all of Salisbury, and Lisa Morton of Salisbury; a mother-in-law, Mary Kellem of Salisbury; a father-in-law Charles Showell Sr. of Philadelphia; a brother-in-law Charles Showell of Salisbury, and a host of other relatives and friends. A brother preceded her in death, Purnell Morton, Jr. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 11 am at New Hope Baptist Church on Jersey Road in Salisbury with a viewing one hour prior to the service. Rev Doretta Smith will officiate. Interment will follow at Green Acres Memorial Park in Salisbury
