On Tuesday, August 18, 2009 Sarah Brummell Green Wilson slipped peacefully and quietly away to rest eternally with God.\n \n She was born January 16, 1914 to George Washington Brummell and Sarah Emily Camper Brummell. She attended school in Trappe, Maryland (Talbot County).\n \n She married Malachi H. Green, Sr. in the early 1930's. He preceded her in death April 1956. Later she met and married Charles Edward Wilson in 1958. He also preceded her in death April 1994.\n \n She became a member of Scott's United Methodist Church after confessing Christ as her personal Savior. Later in life she became a member of Waugh Chapel United Methodist Church. She was an active member in both churches. Singing in various choirs and participating in the Women's Society and the Usher's Ministry.\n \n A loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, cousin and friends she was. She had a charismatic personality and was confident in her opinion. Her smile will be remembered for years to come.\n \n She was preceded in death by her sons, Malachi Green; five brothers, Norman, Gilbert and Percy Williams and Chester Brummell; two sisters, Gustina Roberts and Leah Moss.\n \n Loving and fond memories will be cherished by her devoted daughter, Minnie Johnson; son in-law, James Johnson; stepdaughters, Blanche Walker and Ida Mae Leatherberry; grandchildren, Troy and Osha; great grandchildren, Keaira and Tashera and numerous relatives and friends.\n \n Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2009 11am at Waugh Chapel UM Church 425 High St Cambridge, MD with a viewing one hour prior. Interment Paradise Cemetery.
