Sadie V. Copper Warner (Sissy), 75, departed this life after a lengthy illness on April 9, 2008 at Chesapeake Woods Nursing Center in Cambridge, Maryland\n \n She was born December 27, 1932, daughter of the late Isaac and Cora Copper of Trappe, Maryland.\n \n Sadie was married to the late Norman H. Warner, Sr.\n \n She was educated in the Talbot County School System. Sadie began her most important education and career when she began studying the Bible and subsequently dedicate her life to God and was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. The "Truth" became her way of life. She was an exemplary sister in the Easton congregation until her demise. She enjoyed sharing the truth of the Bible with everyone she came in contact with.\n \n She leaves to mourn four daughters: Dorothy Slaughter (Melvin), Trappe, Md, Laura Mitchell (Greenville, NC), Shirley Warner (Cambridge, Md) and Mable Johnson (Kevin), Hurlock, MD; five sons, David Warner (Betty), Hurlock, MD, Mark Warner (Vanessa), Norman Warner, Jr. (Sharon) and Daniel Warner (all of Cambridge, MD) and Glenn Warner (Easton, MD); five brothers, Isaac Copper and Leroy Copper (both of Phila., PA), Phillip Copper (Valerie), Oxford, Md, Michael Copper (Evelyn), Denton and Mark Copper (Easton); three sisters, Velma Young (Maurice), Trappe, MD, Corrine Brown (Bethlehem and Maryetta Carter (Leonard), McDaniel, Md; an aunt, Hattie Jacobs; two sisters in-law, Pauline Copper (Easton, MD) and Mildred Warner (Phila, PA); 20 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren; a special cousins and friend, Eugenia Johns and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.\n \n In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Alonzo Copper, two sisters, Shirley Copper Brooks and Lois Copper Wilson, a son, Ralph Warner, three grandchildren, one great grandchild and a daughter in-law, Teresa Leak Warner.\n \n Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2008, 2pm at the Kingdom Hall, Rt 50 & Skipton Landing Rd in Skipton. The family will receive friends Friday evening 6-8 pm at Henry Funeral Home, PA 510 Washington St Cambridge.
