Royce Albert Skinner a.k.a Roy, son of the late Royce A. Skinner and Helen Logon, was born February 15, 1923 in Talbot County. He departed this life Thursday, December 12, 2013 at the House in the Pines. In 1948 he was united in Holy Matrimony to Virginia Mae Jackson and from this union six children were born. Roy was a very loving and warm individual who could put a smile on your face and he always had a comment that would keep you laughing with a smile on his face. He was employed at Thompson Motors, where he did painting and bodywork until he retired. He lived a long and fulfilling life and touched all of the hearts that he came to know and love. He will be missed as we continue to walk through life. Survivors to cherish his memory include his six children, Shirley Watson (Philadelphia, PA), Delores Dixon (Norman), Cambridge, MD, Brenda Dorsey (Baltimore, MD), Dennise Skinner (Charlayne), Baltimore, MD, Darcel and Vanessa Skinner, both of Easton, MD; 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. His extended family, Carl Benjamin Black and Denise Potter. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Alice, Eva, Helen and Minnie; brothers, William, Thomas and John.\n \n Services will be held on Thurs., Dec. 19th 1pm at Scotts United Methodist Church Trappe, MD with a viewing two hours prior. Interment in Paradise Cemetery Trappe, MD.
