Rosa Ann Chester, better known to all as "Rose Ann" departed this life on June 28, 2008 with her mother by her side.\n \n Born June 24, 1950, daughter of Katherine Chester Stewart and the late Emory "Kitty Boy" Chester. Rose Ann was educated in Dorchester County, Maryland.\n \n She loved reading the bible, spending quality time with her mother, and she had a special love for people and, she enjoyed being around people and making them smile. Rose Ann would help out anyone that she could. She could turn your worse day into a joyful and pleasant day by her smile.\n \n She leaves to cherish her fondest memories, her mother, Katherine Chester Stewart and stepfather, Christopher Stewart (Queenstown, MD); grandmother, Annie Reese (Cambridge, MD); a brother, Fulton Chester; three stepbrothers, Stanley (Lillian) Stewart, Emerson (Willie) Stewart and Grafton (Carla) Stewart; two stepsisters, Delores Davis and Sylvia (Leon) Wilson; an uncle, Lewis Peterson; a great uncle, Joseph (Victoria) Chester; a very special cousin and his wife, Nathaniel and Janie Keene: Pamela Black, June Purnell and Joyce Wright; two great aunts; Alice Wongus and Agnes Cooper.\n \n The family wishes to say a special thank you to the staff of Queen Anne Hospice House; Shore Regional Cancer Regional Cancer Center, Memorial Hospital at Easton, Dorchester General Hospital, Dr. J. Mastandrea and Dr. M. DeShield offices and their staff.\n \n The family will acknowledge all acts of kindness at a later date and time.
