Ronald Curtis Wilson passed away on Monday, August 8, 2011 at Good Samaritan Hospital. He was 61 years of age. Born January 19, 1950 in Easton, Md. He was the son of Lillian Wilson of Easton, Md and the late Raymond Young. Ronnie was educated in Talbot County Public School System. He worked at Easton Memorial Hospital and Allen Family Foods. Ronnie was also a Professional Chef; he prepared so many of his main dishes at the H & G Restaurant in which people would come from miles around to get his bread pudding. He held that position until his health began to fail. He enlisted into the armed forces serving within the U.S. and Germany. Upon his honorable discharge he reached the rank of an E-5 Sergeant. Ronnie was a member of Queen Esther AME Church Ivytown. His hobbies were fishing with friends and planting his garden. Ronnie was always cooking for family dinners. He was a strong person throughout his illness. He leaves to mourn, his mother, Lillian Wilson; a son Antwoine Wilson; one granddaughter, Danielle Wilson; three brothers, Raymond Wilson (Jeannie), Trappe, MD, Samuel Wilson (Hurlock, Md) and Eric Young (Cambridge, Md); five sisters, Stella Bivens (Easton, MD), Vanessa Wilson (Hurlock, MD), Gloria Young (William), Cambridge, Md, Lenda Smith (Linwood), Trappe, MD and Adrian Woolford (Trappe, MD); a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Anthony Tyrone Wilson, Keith Leroy Wilson, Keith Allen Young and a sister, Terry Ann Wilson. Services will be Saturday, Aug. 20, 2011 1pm at Union Baptist Church 233 Glenwood Ave Easton with a viewing two hours prior. Interment Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery Monday, August 22, 2011 10am.
