Roger Keith Potter's sun set on Friday, May 2, 2008 at Easton Memorial Hospital in Easton, Maryland. Born February 5, 1953, he was the son of the late William and Virginia Potter.\n \n "Jet" as he was lovingly known by family and friends, was educated in Talbot County Public Schools. Roger so loved the work he did, digging in the ground- care taking. He was formerly employed by Dr. Mark Higginbottom, Mrs. Caroline Boutte, Mrs. Laura Eddy and Mrs. Francis Haythe. He also worked at Wheat Tubing for many years.\n \n Roger was a friend to many and always greeted you with a smile. He was a loving father and grandfather. He leaves to mourn his two children, Matiste Wilson and Nicole Palmer; a very devoted com-panion and friend of 35 years, Tessie L. Wilson, 7 grandchildren a�" Nevisha, Derrick, Taylor, Keshawn, Naszire, Geni and Jamaree.\n \n Also left to cherish his memory are his sisters and brothers Valerie, Lynn (Kevin), Rowena, Sonya, Herbert and Hilbert (Joy), Linda C. and a special sister, Yolanda (David), as well as aunts, uncles and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.\n \n Waiting at the heavenly gates are his mother and father, Virgie and William Potter; his brother, Seth Potter, his sister, Loretta Brittingham and three sons, Twayne, DeQuan and Nevin. Also a special son a�" Bobby Williams and a nephew, Wayne Hadrick. Services will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2008 1pm at St. Marks UM Church Peachblossom Ave Easton, Maryland with a viewing two hours prior.
