Robert Tyrone Gibbs (Bobby), the youngest son of the late Betty Georgianna Sylvania Gibbs and the youngest grandson of the late James Olin and Irene Cornelius Scott Gibbs entered into this world on February 18, 1960. His struggle ended on June 12, 2009.\n \n Bobby was educated in the public schools of Queen Anne's County. He graduated from Queen Anne's County High School in 1978. Bobby was employed by Thomas Pierson in the Sanitation Department.\n \n At an early age Bobby attended Sunday school and church services at Bryan's United Methodist Church. He loved to laugh and enjoyed being a prankster.\n \n In 1994 Bobby met and married the former Mary Ann Hollis. He enjoyed being married to Mary Ann, who was a positive influence in his life. From this influence he joined the former Charles Wesley United Methodist Church in Centreville, Maryland. There he participated in Bible Study and sang with the male choir.\n \n He leaves to cherish his memories one daughter, Shalonda Gibbs; three sisters Ann Robinson, Janice Lanman, Deborah Jackson (brother in-law Willie); two brothers William Pendergrass and Stanford Lee Gibbs; two aunts Lucille Little and Constance Gibbs; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends\n \n Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 22, 2009 1pm at Bryan's UM Church Main St Grasonville, MD with a viewing one hour prior to the services.
