Raymond N. Jenkins, 76 of Cordova, Md, departed this life suddenly on Thursday, October 16, 2008 at his home. He was the son of the late Kenneth and Hattie Moaney Jenkins, Sr., born May 8, 1932 in Easton, MD.\n \n He attended school in Talbot County. He then became a farmer and a truck driver. After retiring, he continued to work and was employed by Peach Blossom Farms in Easton, Md.\n \n He is survived by his wife, Flossie Jenkins (Cordova, Md); children, Norris Jenkins (Yvette), Ridgely, MD, Kathy Jenkins (Easton, Md), Leatrice Carter (James), Federalsburg, Md, Donnie Jenkins (Brenda), Preston, MD, Michael Jenkins (Centreville, Md) and Royce Bolden; brothers and sisters, Ella Mae Wells, Willinettie Gibson, Dorothy Jenkins, Gladys Williams, James Jenkins (all of Long Woods, MD), Richard Jenkins (Cambridge, Md) and Franklin Jenkins (Preston, MD) and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.\n \n He was preceded in death by a son, Anthony Jenkins, two sisters, Margaret Watkins, Estella Jenkins and two brothers, William and Kenneth Jenkins, Jr.\n \n Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2008, 1pm at United Church of the Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith in Thomastown, MD with a viewing two hours prior to the services.
