Priscilla Wells, 89 of Trappe, Maryland departed this life on Thursday September 27, 2007 at Easton Memorial Hospital, Easton, Maryland.\n \n Born May 6,1918 in Fort Green, Florida, she was the daughter of the late Lula Mae and Richard Thomas. On March 3rd 1934 she married Ralph Rivers from this union (4) children were born, years later as a lot of families from the south did , they moved north and made their way to Maryland.\n \n She always love helping people and though she never got to realize her dream of becoming a nurse, she did get to work at the Health Care field in later years. She became a Widow in 1957.\n \n On September 14,1963 she married Nathan Wells of Trappe, they enjoyed eight great years of marriage before "Pop Pop" passed away in 1971. She worked at the Pines in Easton for years along with her daughter Daisy and her grand daughter Cookie.\n \n She attended Mount Carmel Hollines Church in Hurlock for many years.\n \n She is survived by one brother, Richard Thomas, grand children , Priscilla, Ralph, Anna, Lori, Beverly, Nicole and Wendy. Great grand children, Charles, Ralphie, Latasha, Lavon and Lamar. Step daughters, Miriam Brooks, Regina Jones and Sara Coleman.\n \n Nephew James Howell, niece Rosalie Howell, special friends, Vance West, Barbara Bolden, Rosa Bailey and adopted daughter Elaine Robinson.\n \n She preceded in death by her father, mother, (3) brothers, Freddy, Albert and Mack Thomas, sister Ella Mae Howell 1st husband Ralph, (2) husband Nathan, son Rufus and Clarence Rivers, daughter Beatrice Cephas , Daisy Rivers, grandaugther Regina Cephas.
