Phillip Tyrone James departed this life Friday July 30th, 2010 in Federalsburg Md at the age of 57. Born February 28, 1953 in Accomack County, VA son of the late Percy Lee and Olevia Baines James. He received his early education at the T.C. Walker school of Virginia prior to his family moving to Maryland where he attended Queen Anne's County Public schools. He was employed in various occupations including, seafood packaging,construction, and asphalt paving. "Chris" as he was called most by family and friends, enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved listening to and singing gospel songs with his sisters and brothers. In his spare time he enjoyed cooking and spending endless hours playing with his grandkids, nieces and nephews as he had a love for kids. He was well known by many who enjoyed his sense of humor and his willingness to help others. Chris will forever be remembered in our hearts. As he has entered into his eternal rest we Thank God for the fond memories,knowing him, and the love he has shown to his family and friends throughout his time with us. He leaves to cherish his memories: a son Tranell Bordley, two granchildren, Mari Bordley and Jamira Warner, both of Centreville Md; three sisters Shirley James,of Centreville MD, Barbara Smallwood(John) of Greensboro MD, and Jelene Johnson of Federalsburg MD,four brothers, Hilton James of Greensboro,MD, Percy James , and Maurice James of Easton MD, and Emanuel James(Marina) of Centreville MD,.A sister-inlaw Carmen James of SandTown DE, Four aunts, Leanna Ayers, of Grasonville MD, Emma Chandler(William) of Belle Haven,VA, Tereasa Baines of Painter VA,and Frances Christian of New York, three uncles,George Burton of Salisbury MD,Ernest James(Jackie) of Belle Haven VA, and Charles James of Long Island New York, a goddaughter,Angela Moore of Centreville MD, a special Cousin Randolph Fitchett Third, a special friend Clay Nichols, and a host of nieces,nephews,cousins and friends.\n \n Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2010 1pm at Union Bethel AME Church 505 Lincoln St Denton, MD with a viewing two hours prior to the services. Interment in Spring Grove Cemetery Denton, MD.
