Patricia, 49 of Trappe departed this life on Monday, August 29, 2016 at Compass Regional Hospice Care in Centreville. She was born August 16, 1967 to the late Charles and Delores Gatlin Johnson in Baltimore.\n \n\n Patricia graduated from Southern Senior High School in Baltimore City in 1982. After high school, Pat worked as a grounds keeper and a maintenance technician. She later received her GNA/CNA certification. Patricia began working in her field of study as a nursing assistant. She provided care to those living in Adult Care facilities and rehabilitation centers. Patricia also provided in-home care through private duty. She was very passionate about cooking. Above all, she had a very deep love for fishing. Patricia could sit and fish all day. Additionally, she loved to sew and cut grass.\n \n\n On February 14, 2007, Patricia married the love of her life. Patricia and Michael married and shared many happy moments together. Michael often called her “Tubby.” After spending a short period of time in Baltimore, the happy couple relocated to Michael’s home area. To other friends and family, she was known as Aunt Tricia, or Aunt Pat.\n \n\n Besides her parents, Pat is preceded in death by her brother, Norman Roland Johnson.\n \n\n “Tubby” leaves to cherish fond memories her husband Michael of Trappe; 2 brothers: Leroy and Charles Johnson; 2 sisters: Linda and Bernice Johnson; a mother-in-law, Catherine Waller of Mardela Springs; 2 brother-in-laws: Darrell Waller of Baltimore and Wayne Waller of Mardela: 3 sister-in-laws: Lillian Waller of Mardela, Valerie, and Deborah Johnson both of Baltimore, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Patricia had a very close friend, Ms. Peggy Akinlosothis, who cared for her very dearly.
