Patricia Ann Baynard

Patricia Baynard known as “Patsy” passed away on November 26, 2023 at her home in Centreville, Maryland, she was 82 years old.

Patricia was born on October 1, 1941 in Denton, Maryland. She was the daughter of John Clayton Baynard and Hilda Dickerson. She attended Lockerman School in Denton. After moving to Kent Island, she worked at United Shellfish during the day and worked nights at Fisherman’s Inn. Patsy worked 40 years at Fisherman’s Inn.

Patsy enjoyed the Senior Centers at Sudlersville, MD and Grasonville’s Center. She loved music, bingo, word search, game shows, puzzles, and cross stitch.

She attended AME Bethel Church in Centreville, MD, and enjoyed visiting other church’s events. Patsy also traveled with her son and daughter-in-law to different events from time-to-time.

Patsy was preceded in death by her father, John Baynard; mother, Hilda Dickerson; brothers Leon Baynard and Clayton Baynard; and son, Deon Baynard.

She leaves to cherish her memories sons William E. Baynard, Sr. (Beverly), and Michael Baynard; daughter, Odessa Baynard; grandchildren, William E. Baynard, Jr. and Natalie Baynard; great-grandchildren, Ma’Rya Baynard, Ryland Baynard, Harper Baynard, and Mia Baynard; brother, Dave Dickerson; sisters, Melinda Dickerson and Alice Dickerson; uncle, Albert Baynard, and aunt Dorothy Baynard.
