Otha Wongus Obituary (1962 - 2016)

Otha William Wongus, 54 of Cambridge, departed this life on Wed., Oct. 12, 2016 at Univ. of MD Shore Med Center at Dorchester, Cambridge, MD. He was born April 20, 1962, son of Lula and the late Otho Wongus. He was raised by his grandmother, Isabella Wongus whom he called Mom. Otha attended the public schools of Dorchester County. He was employed with various businesses in area with the last one being Lifetime Masonary. He leaves to mourn, his loving wife, Bevelyn Cephas; two sons, Jakobra (Nikki), Princess Anne, MD and Otha (Cumberland, MD); two daughters, Brittany (DeAndre) and Brook; two granddaughters, Destini and Navy; one grandson, Aden, who was the apple of his eye; mother, Lula; stepmother, Saadia; one sister, Lynette; two brothers, Roderick and Carlos; two step brothers, Desmond Murray (Shenika) and De'Won Sharp; a step sister, Schandra Johnson (Jerome); Floretta and Cardell were like siblings to him; two uncles, Daniel and Alonza; two aunts, Dorothy and Dianne; mother in-law, Martha Cephas; three sisters in-law, Jackie (Louis), Evelyn (Leroy) and Monica; five brothers in-law, Carl (Thelma); Lance (Janet), Calvin, Gary (Karen) and Dwight and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandmothers and father in-law.
