Cambridge a�" Norris Edward Stafford "Poppa Norris", passed away Sunday, June 28, 2009 at his home.\n \n He was born May 24, 1927 in Church Creek, Maryland. Norris was the son of the late Otto and Anna (Lee) Stafford. He attended the Linas Road School and the St. Clair High School.\n \n He worked around cars for most of his adult life. He drove the school bus for Lakes Bus Service and was employed for Bill Strawns for many years and up until his health failed, he was employed at SKS Dealership.\n \n He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Marion "Nehi" Perry Stafford; a son, Norris (Julia) Stafford, Jr. (Phila., PA); a brothers, Otto (Francis) Stafford, Jr. (Baltimore, MD); six step children (all of Cambridge, MD); twenty one grandchildren; twenty six great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews; sisters in-law, Alma Palmer (New Jersey), Omar Jones (Melvin) and Sandra (Leon) Dorsey, all of Cambridge, MD\n \n He was preceded in death by both parents, a brother, Freeman Stafford and two sisters, Geneva Brown and Norma Lee Brisco.\n \n Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 3, 2009, 1pm at Henry Funeral Home, PA 510 Washington St Cambridge, MD with a viewing two hours prior to the services.
