Norman Truitt Nichols, 77 of Cambridge passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2011. Born in Reliance, MD on August 13, 1934, he was the son of Roland Nichols and Deneica Demory. Norman was employed as a truck driver for 48 years, Moore's for 20 years, Robbins and Robbins for 13 years and Lowes, where he retired after working 15 years. Norman was loving, patient and caring. No one was a stranger to him. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with family and friends. One of his dreams came true in 2006, when he went on a cruise to the Caymen Island and Belize. Norman leaves to mourn his wife, Wendy; two sons, Bruce and Truitt Nichols; a step daughter, Sabrina Todd; a sister, Mary Lettries (California); a lifetime friend, Jesse Gaddis; 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; 5 brothers in-law, Raymond Nichols (Samsetta), Las Vegas, CA, William Nichols (Louvenia), Cambridge, MD, Edward Nichols (California), Tyrone Nichols (Estebella), Georgia and Elvis Todd (Cambridge, Md); a sister in-law, Betty Norman (North Carolina); nieces, nephews and a host of other family members and friends. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2011 2pm at Henry Funeral Home PA 510 Washington St Cambridge.
