NaRue Calvin Johns, of Cambridge, MD, died November 23, 2007 at his home.\n \n He was born March 13, 1951, son of the late Cecil Calvin Johns and Mary Etta Williams.\n \n NaRue attended Colonel Richard High School in Federalsburg, Md, where he was known as a track star. He also served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He was employed as truck driver for over twenty years.\n \n He is survived by a son, Michael Johns (Germany); two sisters, Hattie M. Smith (Salisbury, MD) and Catherine Jackson (Baltimore, MD); four nieces, Sherita Evangeliste (Harold Abraham), Salisbury, MD, Theresa Wilson (South Carolina), Jeanette Choisis and Ramona Murphy (both of Baltimore, MD); three great nephews, Dwight Wilson and Shemar Sony (Salisbury, MD) and Kendall Harris (South Carolina); two great nieces, India Wilson and Christa Allen (both of South Carolina); three aunts, Bessie Pinkins (Federalsburg, MD), Mammie Johns (Preston, MD) and Elnora Green (Trappe, MD) and a host of cousins and friends.\n \n Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 4, 2007 1pm at Henry Funeral Home, PA 510 Washington St Cambridge, MD. Dist. Elder Samuel Brisco will officiate. Interment will follow in Bethel Cemetery.\n \n There will be a viewing Monday evening 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
