The Life of Minnie Maddox Jones A Time to be Born Minnie Maddox Jones was born March 31, 1921 to the late Elizabeth Batson and Benjamin Maddox in Cambridge, Maryland. She was the youngest five children. A Time to Learn Aunt Minnie was educated in Dorchester County Schools. She worked many years for Cold Water Seafood Company until retired in 1980. A Time to Love In 1970, she was united in holy matrimony to her sugar cake sweetheart, Norman Jones who preceded her in death on October 16, 2012. A Time to Gain One of Aunt Minnie's passions was to go to church. She had a love for Jesus Christ, having accepted Him as her personal Savior at an early age. Was member of The Church God Prophecy in Federalsburg, Maryland. A Time to Transition God whispered a requested to have His angel be with Him. So to further beautify the Kingdom of Heaven, He called for Aunt Minnie. On November 11, 2013 at The Pines Genesis in Easton, Maryland Aunt Minnie made her peaceful transition to spend eternal bliss with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. A Time to Mourn Aunt Minnie leaves to cherish her memories, Nephew whom she raised as her son Harmon L. Maddox (Tajuana), Niece Sheila M. Major (Lionel Sr.) Sister in law Lucinda Mae Jones, two Brothers in laws Aruther "Fusty" Jones Delaware and James Jones East New Market, Md. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her brothers William Maddox (Lovey), Benjamin Maddox, sisters Pauline Maddox, Iran Maddox, two nephews Sugar Boy Harmon C. Maddox, Benjamin Maddox, her mother Elizabeth Maddox and father Benjamin Maddox.\n \n Services will be held on Fri., Nov. 15th 1pm at Henry Funeral Home PA Cambridge with a viewing one hour prior. Interment Bethel Cemetery.
