Mildred Viola Thomas was born in Rock Hall, MD on June 15, 1925, the third child of the late Walter and Mildred Ford. She went home to be with the Lord on October 27, 2012, after a short illness. She was educated at Kent County Public School. She was a loving, faithful dedicated member of Faith Tabernacle Holy Church. She was also an Evangelist and Mother of the church. She loved he biological family and her church family. Her life was lived unselfishly. She helped many individuals along life's journey. Lifetime hobbies included fishing, gospel music, all church services and eating out. Mother Vi, Aunt Vi, as she was often called was preceded in death by five siblings, Regina Ford, Ethel Ford, Emma Thompson, Walter Ford Jr. and Eloise Clark. She leaves to cherish her memory, three sisters, Frances Ford, Thelma Brown (James) and Ernestine Cooper; a sister in-law, Thelma Ford and a host of nieces, nephews and friends to many to name. Mother Vi, Aunt Vi will be greatly missed. Services will be Sat., Nov. 3rd 1pm at Faith Tabernacle Holy Church Centreville with a viewing two hours prior. Interment in Carmichael Cemetery Queenstown, MD.
