Michelle Denise Howe, 46 of Denton, MD, departed this life on Fri., Dec. 5, 2014 at University of MD Medical Center in Baltimore, MD.\n \n\n\n\n\n\n Born October 19, 1968 in Seaford, DE, daughter of the late Priscilla Taylor and Julion Cuffee. Shelly, as she was affectionately called, attended Federalsburg Elementary School and was a graduate of Colonel Richardson High School, Class of 1986. After graduation, she attended Chesapeake College graduating with an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. She was employed for 7 years with Caroline County Public Schools and the Eastern Shore “AHEC” for 3 years in Cambridge, MD.\n \n\n\n\n\n\n Michelle was an actively involved parent in all of her children’s academic and sports activities. To name a few, she served on the PTA as President and was a member of Pop Warner with her husband for 8 years.\n \n\n\n\n\n\n She was also an active member of New Life Christian Church and Ministries for 13 years holding many offices within the church.\n \n\n\n\n\n\n Shelly is preceded in death by her father, Jullion Cuffee, grandmother, Pearl Taylor and a brother, Timothy.\n \n\n\n\n\n\n Her memory shall always be cherished by her husband, Anthony “Tony” Howe, Sr. (Denton, MD); children, Anthony Jr. (Bowie, MD), Jeremiah Sr. (Denton, MD), Thomas, Stephen and Destiny Howe (all of Denton, MD); three children she considered as her own, Michelle Smith, Ryan Jenkins and Martin Francois; grandchildren, Tayla Marie Howe and Jeremiah Howe Jr.; mother, Priscilla Taylor (Seaford, DE); siblings, Ruby (Edward) Blockson (Seaford, DE), Starr (Reuben) Hargraves (Felton, DE), Terry (Richard) Fooks (Greenwood, DE), Jullion (Corretta) Cuffee, Millsboro, DE, Miles (Veronica) Cuffee, Felton, DE, Frank (Rocha) Cuffee, Seaford, DE, Melvin (Diane) Cuffee (Atlanta, GA), Corinthian (Kim) Cuffee, Felton, DE, Micah (Symra, DE), Angel (Anthony) DeShields (Denton, MD), Esther (William) Crawford, (Dover, DE), Jullion (Lenora) Taylor, (Hurlock, MD), Mary (Eric) Wayman (Santa Clarita, CA), Brenda (Lewis) Richards (Preston, MD), Kevin Taylor (Bridgeville, DE), Rhonda (Wayne) Batson (Elkton, MD) and Tammy (David) Batson, (New Castle, DE); Mother in-law, Elnora Howard; brother in-law, Eric Mealey; sister in-law, Regina Hockaday and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.\n \n\n\n\n Interment Smithville Cemetery, Taylors Island, Maryland.
