Martha Ann Baines Dobson., also affectionately known as “Redtop” departed this life on October 08, 2018 at Univ of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Easton. She was born on May 31, 1942 in North Hampton County, VA the youngest child of the late Linwood Baines, Sr. and the late Martha L. Baines Thomas.\n \n\n Martha Ann Baines Dobson moved to St. Michael from Franktown VA, at age of 5, upon the death of her father, with her mother, and two brothers where she attended primary school and graduated from Moton High School in Easton.\n \n\n While in High School, Martha was a good student. After graduating High School, Martha worked at The Jones Oyster and Crab House. She worked at Grey Block Ribbon Company in Easton, which she did for 20 years. Later she worked at J.C. Penny Department Store in Easton from where she retired after 20 plus years.\n \n\n Martha was a collector, she collected miniature dolls, ornaments, and jewelry.\n \n\n In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by a brother Linwood Baines, Jr.\n \n\n Martha leaves to cherish fond memories to her loving and devoted son James A. Dobson of Honolulu, Hawaii: One brother Charles Baines (Ruby) of Oceanside, CA; One Aunt Margaret Baines Webb of Virginia; Four grandchildren; Teiosha, Denyro, Miles, and Mina; Four Great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
