Markus Quintell Manokey,Sr .,55,Affectionally Known As Mark By Many And Doc By Others, Passed Away On June 20,2014 Peacefully In His Sleep. He Was Born July 31,1958 In Cambridge Md To Calvin And Valerie Manokey.Mark Attended Schools In Dorchester County And Was A Graduate Of Cambridge South Dorchester High School Class Of 1977. He Began Working For The City Of Cambridge Dept. Of Public Works Right Out Of High School Which Lasted 21 Years. Upon His Death He Was Employed With Burris Refrigerated Logistics In Federalsburg Maryland. On Dec.24,1988 He Married Alesia Stanley. In His Earlier Years Mark Enjoyed Being A Part Of The Dunn’s Court Wrecking Crew.He Loved Gardening, Riding His Motorcycle And Working On Neighborhood Vehicles. In His Spare Time He Looked Forward To Fishing With His Father And Brothers. Mark Was Known To Kid Around And Make You Laugh. If He Picked On You He Cared Alot About You. Along With Loving His Family And Friends His Pride And Joy Was His Dog Sadie. He Leaves Behind To Cherish His Memory, His Wife Of 25 Years Alesia Manokey And His Parents Calvin &Valerie Manokey, Five, Children, Makesha(Donald)Sanders Of North Carolina, Markus Manokey,Jr.&Mykia Manokey Of Cambridge, Mykeia Stanley&Bronte (Bejia) Stanley Of Cambridge; Twelve Grandchildren, Zy’aire Newman, Jai’tyrese Brown, Ke’vondre Sanders, Ke’sean Sanders, Ja’shawn Perry, Jai’hieem Manokey, Te’asia Stanley, Javion Watkins, Te’yona Stanley, Taijha Stanley,Tejah Stanley And Tahrique Hutchins. He Aslo Leaves Behind 5 Brothers, Calvin, Lenot, Kenneth & Bruce Manokey, All Of Cambridge.
