Mark Stanley

Mark Anthony Stanley SR., 70. Mark died on Tuesday April 25, 2023, after a lengthy illness surrounded by his wife, children, and grandchildren.

Mark was born Nov 16, 1952, to Dorothy Jackson and Thomas Stanley Sr., he was named after his Great-great grandfather Mark Anthony. Mark was educated in the Dorchester County Public Schools. He attended Maces Lane High School until he enlisted in the Armed Forces. Mark Served 30 years in the Army and Army Reserves. He also worked for 15 years at Allied Tube and Conduit until he retired due to his illness.

On Tuesday April 25, 2023, Mark departed this life at the Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. He loved to box, repair cars, and spend time with his children, family, and friends.

Brother: Thomas Stanley Jr. Sisters: Nicie Ansari of Charlotte, and Janet (Thomas) Diez. Brothers-In-law: Gary Tilghman, Eddie Paul Tilghman, Morgan Butts. Sisters-In-law: Felicia Quailes (David), Janelle Washington (Aafiq), Bernice Butts, Angie Fulton (Mark), Mona Butts, Taneeda Butts, Kim Butts, Diane Ennels. Uncle: Harold Stanley. Aunts: Rachel Miller, and Mardella Opher. Mark was preceded in death by both parents. His Mother Dorothy Jackson and his Father Thomas Stanley Sr. Both sets of grandparents. Uncle: Walter Stanley. Aunts: Josephine Woolford, Claire Briscoe, Helen Thompson, Mary Coleman, and Berdella Thompson. Brother: Danny Stanley, and Kevin Stanley. Sisters: Catherine Camper and Doris Stanley. Sisters-In-Law: Diane Sheffield, and Beulah Mack.
