Lynette Copper, the daughter of Gregory and Faith Copper, was born on October 15, 1988 in Easton, Maryland. She suddenly departed this life on Friday, December 31, 2010. Lynette was educated in the Talbot County Public School System and graduated from Easton High School in 2006. She was one of five basketball players in the school's history to score more than 1,000 points with a total of 1,495 career points. During the off season Lynette played AAU Basketball with the Wolfpack Basketball Team from 2006 to 2008. Lynette played with the CCBC Dundalk Women's Basketball team where she became the leading scorer of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division II. While on the road she bonded with a host of friends and created life long memories. In addition to her parents, she leaves to cherish her memory, her brothers Deon Gibson and Jermaine Keeling; her sisters, Andrea Seals and Leah Copper. She was the "cool aunt" to Khiva Gibson, Chelsea Seals, Sean Keeling, Morgan Seals, Tay'Vion Chester, Jermaine Keeling, Jr., and RayVen Seals. She also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and five very special friends-Whitney Bowens, Chelsey Thomas, Jolisha Mundy, Milan Palmivo and Terron Quailes. In addition, Lynette leaves behind many more friends far too numerous to name. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2011 1pm at Easton High School Auditorium 723 Mecklenburg Ave Easton, MD with a viewing Friday evening 6-8pm and Saturday morning 10-12pm at Henry Funeral Home PA 510 Washington St Cambridge, MD. Interment will be private.
