Lonnie Ross

Lonnie Henry Ross, 77 of Easton, passed away peaceful on Friday, February 25, 2011 at his home. Born August 7, 1933, son of the late Percy and Mary Ross. He was educated in the Public Schools of Talbot County. Lonnie was employed with the Department of Public Works and later with Charlie Adams Canning Factory Landing Neck Rd. Lonnie accepted the Lord November, 2007. He enjoyed reading his bible daily, wrestling and making people laugh. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles, Percy and Walter and three sisters, Hilda, Mae and Mildred. He leaves to cherish his loving memory, his wife of 19 years, Maggie Ross; two stepdaughters, Michelle Pritchett (Stacy) and Shantay Joseph (all of Easton, MD); three grandsons, Bryant, Jaurice and Eric; one sister in-law, Jeanette Dawson ( Easton, Md.) ; two brothers in-law, John Dawson (Virginia) and Donald Dawson (Federalsburg, MD) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2011 11am at Hope House of Praise 30589 Dover Road Easton, MD with a viewing one hour prior to the services.
