Lois Laverne Stinson, "BB", she was lovingly called, passed away at her home in Cambridge, Maryland on Thursday, September 11, 2008.\n \n She was born June 3, 1953 in Cambridge, daughter of the late Leon Washington Johnson and Elois Stinson Martin. BB received her education from the Dorchester County Public School System. She graduated from Cambridge High School, Class of 1971. BB was employed at Airpax for 14 years until she became ill. Her hobbies included traveling, putting large puzzles together and spending time with her family and friends. BB was a loving, kind and generous person, who always thought of others. BB is survived by her loving and devoted mother, Elois Martin, stepfather, Joseph Martin, her loving and devoted grandmother, Bernice Cornish (all of Cambridge, MD); three sisters, Patricia Stinson Hughes (Marvin), Hurlock, MD, Joanne Chase and Patricia Camper Lee (both of Cambridge, MD); two brothers, Leon Camper (Baltimore, MD) and Raymond Chase (Atlanta, GA); a godson, Jamal Pinder (Cambridge, MD); two aunts, Bernice Johnson Pinkett (Cambridge, MD) and Norma Lee Johnson Young (New Brunswick, NJ); two uncles, Emerson Johnson (Cambridge, Md) and Edward Johnson (New Brunswick, NJ); two great aunts, Elizabeth McCready (Cambridge, MD) and Rhoda Rose (Baltimore, MD) a great uncle, Frederick Matthews (Baltimore, MD); a close friend, Sharon Pinder; several nieces, nephews and cousins.\n \n BB was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Stinson. A special thanks to Larry Nichols and Hospice Care of Salisbury, MD.\n \n Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 20, 2008, 11 am at Waugh Chapel United Methodist Church 425 High St Cambridge, Maryland. There is no public viewing. Interment Beckwith Cemetery.
