In Loving Memory of
Lee Watson Dixon, Sr.

September 22, 1952 - September 29, 2026

Lee Watson Dixon, Sr. affectionately known to many as “Lee” passed away on September 29, 2026, at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. He was 74 years old. Born on September 22, 1952, in Cambridge, Maryland, Lee was the beloved son of the late John and Helen Dixon. His passing leaves behind a lifetime of memories, love, laughter, and stories that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Lee was educated in Cambridge, Maryland, where he attended St. Clair Elementary School and later graduated from Mace’s Lane High School. Throughout his life, Lee was a hardworking man who took pride in what he did. He worked for Norris Taylor, M. Nelson Barnes, and Nelson's Auto Body, where his love and knowledge of automobiles became an important part of his life.

From an early age, Lee had a natural talent for working with his hands. Growing up, he enjoyed helping repair farm equipment, an experience that helped fuel his lifelong passion for automobiles. He especially loved muscle cars and classic cars. If you knew Lee, you could often find him behind the wheel of his 4x4 Chevy pickup, riding around town, or enjoying one of his greatest automotive treasures-his award winning 1970 Chevy Chevelle SS. Cars were more than a hobby to Lee; they were a reflection of his creativity, patience, pride, and personality.

More than anything, Lee cherished his family. He was a man who valued time spent with the people he loved, especially his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed being around his family, sharing memories, and watching his grandchildren grow. His presence, his personality, and the love he showed his family will be deeply missed.

Lee was preceded in death by his parents, John and Helen Dixon; his brothers, Vincent Dixon, Sr. and John Dixon, Jr.; and his sisters, Mary Wilson and Eunice Felder.

He leaves to cherish his memory sons Lee Dixon Jr. (Joann), Robert Rosado both of Cambridge, MD, and Armondo Rosado of Salisbury, MD; his daughters, Ramona Dixon of Cambridge, MD, Mary Adams of Salisbury, MD, and Carley Drummond of Baltimore, MD; his brothers James Dixon, Sr. (Mamie Travers), Kent Dixon (Tina) of Clinton, MD, Kermit Dixon, David Holland, and Ronald Mitchell of Cambridge, MD; his sister Corrine Molock of Cambridge, MD; and significant other Margaret “Bobbi” Greene of Cambridge, MD; 18 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends who loved him dearly.

Lee Dixon, Sr. leaves behind more than a name- he leaves behind a legacy. He leaves behind the memories of a father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, and a man who loved his family, loved his cars, and lived life in his own special way. His laugh, his stories, his love of classic cars, and the memories created with him will continue to live on through the generations.

Though our hearts are heavy with his absence, we can find comfort in knowing that the love Lee gave throughout his life will never be lost. Every ride in a classic car, every family gathering, every story told, and every memory shared will keep a piece of him alive.

Lee may no longer be with us in person, but his love, his memories, and his legacy will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the blessing of knowing him.

Rest peacefully, Lee Watson Dixon, Sr.
Your journey on earth is complete, but your legacy lives on.
Forever loved. Forever remembered. Forever missed. ❤️
