Leatrice Adams Obituary (1939

Leatice Elizabeth Laws Adams also known as Mommo from Baltimore, MD was called home Friday on July 11, 20 at Northwest Hospital (Season Hospice) in Randallstown, MD. Leatrice was born on March 30, 1939 in Cambridge, MD to the late Herman Jenkins and the late Bernice Johnson. Leatrice graduated from Mason Lane High School class of 1957. She also attended Nursing School to become a LPN. She was employed at the State Hospital in Cambridge, MD. Later she moved to Baltimore, MD and worked at Seton Hill Manor. Leatrice did private duty nursing as well. She retired in 1997 after 20 plus years of Nursing. Leatrice was affiliate with Waugh Chapel United Methodist Church. She also participated in the PTA at Westport Elementary /Middle School. Her hobbies were cooking, baking, taking care of her plants and spending time with her great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her only son Pierre Laws and daughters Joyce Adams and Joan Adams. She is survived by her daughter Leslie Laws (Baltimore, MD), Sister Dorothy Beverly (Cambridge, MD) niece Jean Cornish ; 8 grandchildren, Vince Brooks Jr., Barry Cornish, Leatrice Brooks, Sharnice, Devin ,Antonio, Mercedes, and Raven Adams; 5 great-grandchildren, Sha’miya Cornish, Kevin Khadoo Jr., Vincent Brooks, Xavier Ames, and Kenny Khadoo. She had a host of other relatives and friends. Interment Waugh Cemetery Cambridge, Maryland
