Pastor James D. Warren Sr.

James D. Warren, Sr., also known as “Spider” or “Uncle Dominic”, departed this world on April 10th 2026 at Bay Harbor Nursing Home in Salisbury, MD. James was 58 years old when God took him home.

James, the beloved son of Helen Jackson and AJ Warren, was born on July 15, 1968. He was educated in the Talbot County Public School System, and attended Easton High School in Easton, MD.

James worked in various capacities. He was employed with the school system and the Town of Easton, where he eventually retired after being there for ten years.

James had many things he loved to do from teaching, speaking, reading the word of God to watching tv, laughing with family and friends, dressing up (he loved to look good and smell good), having conversations with his son and watching his favorite football team (Dallas Cowboys). James loved attending church service at the Garden Church located at 900 Peachblossom Avenue in Cambridge, MD.

The family members that preceded in death were AJ Warren (father), Helen Warren (mother), Renee Warren (sister), Agnes Richardson (aunt), Marvin Richardson (uncle), Ricky Richardson (cousin).

The surviving family members are James D. Warren, Jr. (son), Makenzie E. Seldon (step-daughter), Eliana Russell (granddaughter), Dupree Warren (ex-wife), Ronald Warren (brother), Lisa Perry (mother-in-law), Richard Perry (father-in-law), Dominique P. Sturgis (sister-in-law), Danielle Brown (niece), Christian Brown (niece), Ayanna Brown (niece), Dominic J. Brown (nephew); and a huge host of cousins and friends who are like family: John Slaughter (brother), Shannon Jefferson (brother), Aaron Jefferson (brother), Gloria Slaughter (sister), Elizabeth Slaughter (sister), and Derrick Wilson (brother).
