Ida Elizabeth Youmens

Ida was born on December 14, 1947 in Baltimore, Md. to Daisy M. Thomas and Alphonso
Hopkins. She attended Baltimore City Public Schools.
She worked several jobs throughout her life, but being a homemaker was what she loved.. She
also loved spending time with family, friends and grandchildren. She loved shopping and going
to restaurants with her sister. Ida also loved riding her scooter up and down race street,
watching westerns, fishing and crabbing on the choptank river.
Ida was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Charles Gross, Richard Thomas, Jimmy
Sayles, James Gross and sisters, Ella Mae Thomas and Margaret Clark.
Ida is survived by her Daughter, Ida Brown(Anthony), Sons, Eugene Thomas, Luther
Thomas(Meka), Sister, Bertha Northam(Howard), Goddaughter Evette Milburn and special
friend , Ms. Paulette. She also leaves to cherish her memories grandchildren, Lashawnda,
Baria, Luther Jr, Jordan, Jasmyn, Jadyn Thomas and eight great grandchildren.
