Herman Young Obituary (1944

Herman Roger Young, 62, passed away on Friday, August 10, 2007 at the Atlantic General Hospital in Berlin, Maryland. He was born November 30, 1944 in Ivytown (Talbot County), son of the late Herman Mathews Young and Beatrice Young. Herman was educated in the public schools of Talbot County and worked as a farmer for private entrepreneurs in Talbot County and later years in Delaware. He loved fishing and was especially fond of his brother, Charles Young and sister in-law, Clara of Cambridge. Survivors include: a devoted brother, Charles Young (Clara), Cambridge; two daughters, Lisa and Shelley; two sisters, Gloria Young and Joyce Young (both of Atlantic City, NJ); cousins, Barbara Young (Talbot County), Bradford Young (Cordova, MD), Peggy Brooks (Trappe, MD); a very good friend, David Nixon (Oxford, MD) and a sister in-law, Lorraine Jenkins (Centreville, MD). Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
