Georgia “Pat” Annia Pollard\n April 20, 1958 – January 26, 2023\n\nGeorgia Annia Pollard, 64, a resident of El Paso, Texas, affectionately known to her family and friends as Pat, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 26, 2023. \n\nPat was born on April 20, 1958, in Exmore, Virginia, on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. Pat received her early and high school education through the Queen Anne’s County Public School System in Maryland. Throughout her years, Georgia held many positions, including customer service and managerial positions. However, she had a lifelong dream of becoming a mental health therapist. To realize this dream, Georgia received her Bachelor of Science in Social Psychology degree from Park University in 2004. In 2006, she received a Master’s of Art in Counseling with an Emphasis in Professional Mental Health Counseling from Webster University. In 2016, she received her Master’s of Science in Criminal Justice, as well as a Post Graduate Certificate in Mental Health Counseling from Wilmington University. While with Pressley Ridge in Dover, DE, Georgia provided therapy for youth who were placed in foster care. She also provided therapy services for Amanecer Community Counseling agency in Anthony, New Mexico. More recently, Georgia provided Biblical counseling for her home church, Abundant Grace Church in El Paso. Georgia loved working with youth, which was evident through her position as an Alternative Teacher with Chapin High School in El Paso, TX. One of the things she would say to her kids was, “don’t be a fool”. The youth that she worked with over the years loved how she provided discipline, love, grace, and guidance to them.\n\nIn 2010, Prophetess Georgia joined United Fellowship Ministries in Dover, DE. As a member, she became licensed as a minister, was head of hospitality, graduated from the School of Prophets, and completed her Master’s in United Fellowship Bible College. After Pat left Delaware to return to El Paso, she became a faithful member of Abundant Grace Church in El Paso, Texas. She faithfully served her\nAbundant Grace Church Family in many capacities over the years such as: Hospitality President, Greeter, Food Pantry, Youth Teacher, Biblical Counseling Team Leader, Armor Bearer, Adult Bible Study Teacher, and Preacher, just to name a few. Despite her many roles and accomplishments, what she most\ntreasured was becoming a graduate of the first Ministerial Empowerment Course and Alliance (MECA).\n\nGeorgia had a love for traveling, having visited many places throughout the world, including France, Germany, Italy, Czech Republic overseas, and various places throughout the United States and the Caribbean. Georgia also had a love for cooking and baking. When she and her children were situated\nin Delaware, she would host various events for birthdays, Mother’s Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas; with her making majority of the dishes. She took pride in making her peach cobblers and pound cakes. Georgia also loved her beloved Philadelphia Eagles. She would ensure to scream E-A-G-L-E-S, as well as\nwear her favorite Philadelphia Eagles shirts and jerseys on game days.\n\nGeorgia loved her children and grandchildren very much and took pride in knowing that they were her greatest accomplishments. Her memory will be cherished by her six children, Janel Austin (John) – Newark, DE; Lloyd Price III – Silver Spring, MD, Micki Cooper (Jeremiah) – Jacksonville, FL; Jessica Pollard (Brandon) – El Paso, TX; Sarah Arnold (Josh) – El Paso, TX, and Ja’Lecia “Gia” Pollard (Danny) – El Paso, TX; her grandchildren, La’Nijha Price, Lloyd Price IV, Logan Price, David Pollard, Trinity Holland, Neveah Arnold, Noelle Arnold, and great granddaughter, Kristina Barefield. Her brothers, Israel Finney, Jr., Antoine Reid, Trushun Truxon, Vaughn Truxon, Charles Finney, Dion Finney, and Tarence\nBailey; and sisters Sarah Ayres and Jameyra Finney. She also leaves her best friend of 30 years, Sheryl Lott; her spiritual mother, Barbara Williams, and her god daughter Trevisha Taylor. Her memory will be cherished by her Abundant Grace Church Family, United Fellowship Ministries, and Chapin High School\nFamilies, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.\n\nShe was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Harmon Finney, whom she loved dearly and treasured; and her father, Israel Finney, Sr.; her brothers Joe Louis Finney; Terry Allen Finney, Sr., Jerry Allen Finney; Ray Charles Finney; and Charles Roy Finney, and sister Gloria Knox.
