Freddie Cornish Obituary (1950 - 2008)

Freddie Lee Cornish "Joe" died on January 7, 2008 in Banning, Calif. He was born December 11, 1950 in Cambridge, Md., to the late Lorraine Cornish and Oscar Charles. Joe received his education in the Dorchester County Public Schools. Joe resided in Banning Calif., for the last 30 years. He was a truck driver. Freddie leaves to mourn his wife, Angelita (Banning, Calif.); grandson, Geron Como; four sisters, Ruth Cornish Wilson, Valarie Cornish, Lachelle Cornish (all of Cambridge, Md.) and Laverne Cornish (Silver Spring, Md.); three brothers, Irvin Cornish, Cedric "Bozie" Cornish and Orlando (Gail) Cornish (all of Cambridge, Md.); close friends, Clarence Cornish, Lemuel Chester and Cortez Johnson. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Amy Butler (Banning Calif.), maternal grand- parents, Artemas and Willie Cornish. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2008 2pm at St. Luke UM Church 712 Bradley Avenue Cambridge, MD Interment will follow in Christ Rock Cemetery
