Daryl Miquel Shields, Sr. was a man of steel and velvet, known to many by his assortment of nicknames - Jim Shields and Tyson. Born on June 27, 1971, in Cambridge, Maryland, Daryl was a supportive pillar of strength and resilience. His humble spirit and ambitious approach to life have left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew him. \n\nDaryl was a man of many talents, but his most notable accomplishment was his work as a Professional Concrete Finisher for Clark Construction. He took great pride in his work, reflecting his resilience and ambition. Despite his professional achievements, Daryl was a humble man who found profound joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was passionate about boxing, and he loved the Redskins. His love for music, road trips, and good food were just as significant, showcasing his zest for life. Nonetheless, his greatest devotion lay in his unwavering faith in God and his love for his family. Daryl was a devoted son, father, and a steadfast believer in Christ. His favorite pastime was reading his Bible, a testament to his commitment to his faith.\n\nDaryl is survived by his mother, Muriel Lee, his children, Autumn Shields (granddaughter, Amoura), Daryl Shields 2nd (granddaughters, Harmony and Reign, and grandson, Caleb), Demetri Shields (grandson, Elijah), and his sister India Shields (nephew, Jaki, nieces, Ja’lean, Ja’Zair, I’Yonna). His ex-wife Lakesha Clash Shields. Along with other family and friends, Lee, Johnson and Smith family. He is preceded in death by maternal grandparents Levin and Alice Lee, paternal grandparents James Shields Sr and Lenora Shields, his father, James Shields Jr, and his brother Marlon Shields (nephews, Marlon, Marrone, Khalil, M’Kari).
