Conrad Terrance Ennals

–

Cambridge, Maryland

On the morning of November 19, 2023, Conrad Terrence Ennals passed away to join his son Kenya, and wife Judy, peacefully in his sleep at the age of 81.

Conrad Terrance “Terry” Ennals was born in Cambridge, Maryland on September 3rd, 1942 to Richard Millard and Berthenia Elsie Ennals. He was very close to his mother and spoke highly of her caring and loving nature.

He was a proud brother and loved each of his siblings dearly. He enjoyed showing his grandchildren pictures of his brothers Paul, Sidney, Uvon, and Jerome and telling the story of the day his mother went into labor with his baby sister, Lavern.

He graduated from Maces Lane High School and after, joined the US Army where he got the opportunity to experience life in Germany.

Once he returned, he spent his twenties with his first wife. Enjoying concerts in Baltimore & DC and visiting family and friends.

In 1978, they adopted his son, Kenya Terrance Ennals. Kenya was his world and he was a devoted, loving father after their divorce and into Kenya’s adulthood.

He was predeceased by his son Kenya in 2005 but he left him two granddaughters, Ke’Essence Te’Abrah Ennals and Ke-Nya Teairence Ennals.

Terry enjoyed running. He was known for running through town training for marathons all over the DMV where he often placed first.

He also loved music. In his later years, it was the only thing to make him use a smartphone. He had a very impressive music collection and enjoyed making playlists of his favorite jazz, R&B, and soul artists.

He worked and retired as a drug and alcohol counselor for the state of Maryland where he left a loving impact on all that he interacted with.

In 1997, Terry remarried Judy Ann Johnson who he loved and adored. He admired her sweet and gentle spirit and was very grateful for their union. They spent their married years together in their home in Pocomoke City, Maryland. He did his very best to care for her throughout illnesses until her passing in 2013.

After being widowed and becoming less able bodied himself, Terry spent his final years enjoying time with his brother in law, Edward Johnson in Pocomoke and his granddaughters in Atlanta.

He is survived by his siblings Paul and Lavern Pinder. His nephews Paul and Sidney, niece Shamecca, a great niece and nephews, and his granddaughters Ke-Nya and Ke’Essence.

He made sure to share his love and light with all of his friends and family, and that love will last until the end of time.
