Willis Booker Scott Jr, of Easton, Maryland departed this life on November 9, 2022. Wills was 82 years of age.\nWillis was born May 25, 1940, to the late, Willis Booker Scott, Sr. and Anna LaRue Scott Mitchell. He attended Robert Russa Moton School, and graduated with the class of 1958. He served in the United States Air Force for six years. After the service, he drove long distance trucking for several years before working for the United States Postal Service. He worked for the United States Postal Service for 33 years, retiring in September 1999.\nWillis was a member of the Prince Hall Masons and received his 33rd degree in 1988. During his Masonic career, he served as Worshipful Master of Easton Star Lodge #16, Commander-in-Chief of King David Scottish Rite Consistory #284, and ILL Potentate of Abu La Hab Temple (Shriners) #206. He also served as 1st Lt. Commander Emeritis of the Samuel T. Daniels Council of Deliberation which consists of 32nd degree and 33rd degree Masons for the State of Maryland.\nWillis was a Life Member of the NAACP. He was also a Life Member of the American Legion. He served as Post Commander of Blake-Blackson Post #77, District Commander of the North Eastern Shore District and the Department Executive Committee (State).\nWillis was a member of Bethel A.M.E. Church, where he served on the Stewardship and Finance Committees and Trustee Board. He served on the Board of Directors for the Neighborhood Service Center, Inc. and was the past President of the St. Marks Ministry to the Aged, Inc.\nWillis was preceded in death by his sister, Mildred Anna Jones and his daughter, Rhonda A. Scott-Dingwall.\nHe is survived by his daughters, Stephanie and Anna (Kirk); grandchildren Chaz, Christina, Jeffrey, Jordan, Jaylen, KJ, and Teagan; great grand-daughter Mia; nieces Frederica (Craig) and Brenda; great-nephew Kevon; great-niece Brianna; great-great-nephew Keegan; cousin Ethel; and special friends and loved ones acquired during his lifetime.
