Bobby Johnson, 75, formally of Cambridge passed away Monday, January 2, 2023 at Tidal Health in Salisbury, MD peacefully surrounded by love ones. He was born August 6, 1947, to the late Mable Keene Johnson and Gothlee Johnson, Sr.\n\nBobby was educated in Dorchester County Public Schools and was a member of the graduating class of 1966. Bobby was employed throughout several factory jobs in Cambridge and Easton, MD. Bobby loved the sport of softball and horseshoes, and played every chance he got. He was an avid Indianapolis Colts fan! To know Bobby, you were always guaranteed good laughs, jokes and to be called a “Dummy”.\n\nBobby leaves to cherish his wife Emma Crippen-Johnson, daughters: Samantha Blake of Harford County, Vonda Crippen of Salisbury, MD and Doris Blake of Cambridge MD; a son Robert Johnson of Cambridge, MD, three honorary daughters, Marlene Hamlin, Ullesley Jackson and Cassandra McMillion, grandkids Shequita & Jerad Williams, Ja’Brile Johnson, Riena Thomas, Ykia Lyons, Khambre Young and Tehajha Jefferson and several great grandchildren. Siblings, Gothlee (Phyllis) Johnson, Medford Johnson, Melvin (Rosemary) Johnson, Patricia Johnson Sharp all of Cambridge; Brother in laws, Albert and Louis Crippen, an Aunt Serena Gregg of Cambridge, 2 special nieces, Rhonda Cornish and Mary Collins and a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.\n\nBobby was preceded in death by his parents Gothlee and Mable Johnson, siblings, Mary Keene Cornish, Handy Keene, John (Sonny) Keene, James, Ronald, Henry (Chucky) and Douglas Johnson; sister-in-law Ethel Crippen and brother-in- laws Randall Cornish, Sr. and Rudolph Sharp.
