Beverly Patricia Johnson

Beverly Patricia Johnson, age 68, from Cambridge, MD went home to be with the Lord on March 2, 2025 at Mallard Bay Nursing Home in Cambridge, MD.

Born December 24, 1956, Beverly was the baby girl of Robert Nichols and Vera Johnson. Beverly was given the nickname of “Snookie” and it stuck all her life.

Beverly was educated in the Dorchester County Public School System. Members of the “Class of 1974” from Cambridge Senior High School loved and acknowledged her as their classmate.

Beverly was taught about the Lord early in childhood at Zion Baptist Church under the late Rev. Conrad Branch. She loved to show off her vocal skills. As an adult she was a homemaker and loved a “Party”. She watched westerns on television, enjoyed doing word search puzzles, and loved to drink a good cup of “Coffee”.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents Vera Johnson and Robert Nichols; grandmothers Lillian Lemons and Sarah Nichols; sisters Jacquleine Johnson and Dorothy Seymore; brothers Carlton Nichols, Ronald Johnson, Michael Johnson, and Tyrone Johnson.

To cherish her memory is one daughter Rhonda Johnson; one grandson Glen Wilson, Jr.; one granddaughter Brooklyn Jones; three great grandchildren J’oel Ennals, Glen D. Wilson, III, and Jeremiah Morris; siblings Diana Griffin (Horace) of Bradenton, FL, Vincent Johnson (Iris), Gwendolyn Johnson, and Teresa McNair all of Cambridge, MD, and Lawrence Johnson (Debbie) of Denton, MD; aunt Louise Price of Moreno Valley, CA; two uncles Cornelius Johnson (Margie) of Cambridge, MD and Clevon Johnson (Kaye) of Savannah, GA; one older cousin Lilymae Ross (Robert) of Philadelphia, PA; two special friends Geneva Elliott and Denise Fletcher; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
