Annie Farlow

–

Seaford, Delaware

Annie Virginia Farlow, 74 of Seaford, DE quietly departed this life on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Bayhealth Hospital, Milford, DE.

Annie was born to Lottie Spicer Farlow and
Raymond Scott Roberts on August 25, 1948 in Columbia Laurel, DE. Most everyone knew
her by Little Miss, Little Annie, Sugar Mama, or Ann. She loved her family and church family very much. Annie was a loving and devoted mother who had a very special bond with her two daughters, Paula and Debbie, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Annie enjoyed life and loved to have fun while hanging out with her Aunts, Clara, Mattie, Bernice and friend/sister Ms. Pat. Until her illness, Annie was a member of Ross Point New Freedom Church, where she served on the Usher Board and the Planning Committee, assisting with the talent search for the Annual Gospel Fest. “Little Annie” enjoyed hanging out eating dinner at PK with Pastor Caldwell, Evangelist Day and other members after church. Her favorite drink was Iced Tea with extra ice and lemons and they better not mess it up or she would start fussing. She enjoyed her turkey sub, bag of chips from Subway, and McDonald's
breakfast burrito with mild sauce. She loved shopping and FaceTime with her daughters, as well as collecting different ink pens and ceramic dogs. Little Miss loved calling family and friends on the phone and singing “happy birthday” to them in her own special little way.

Annie grew up in the Laurel, Delaware area and she graduated in 1983 from James H. Grove Adult High School in Georgetown, DE. Annie was previously employed with Dutch Inn, Laurel, DE and Vlasic in Millsboro, DE, where she was employed for 30 years before retiring. After retirement, for a short while, she went on to work with Community Action Senior Companion Program in Georgetown, DE.

Annie will always be lovingly remembered by her two daughters Paula (Christopher) Bailey,
Millsboro, DE and Debbie Farlow, Wilmington, DE; two Goddaughters Angela (Gregory)
Young and Shamya Sturgis. Seven grandchildren, LaTeya Farlow, KaVisha Farlow, Shardae Farlow, Katrice Farlow, Sheneise Farlow, Carlos Farlow, and Sunday Sanchez; 15 great-grandchildren, NaiAsha Farlow, NyAire Farlow, NaRiyah Farlow, CaRyah Dickson, KeShaun Jones, Lionel Hickman Jr., Waunye’ Calm Jr., Christian Farlow, Casen Sanchez, TaNyah Hickman, DyaMond Reid, Queen Sanchez, Tah’ lani Hickman, Kingston Sanchez, and Quadiare Rodgers. Three aunts Mattie Farlow, Clara Hunt and Bernice Walters; special friend/sister Pat Dodson-Smack; and a host of cousins and friends.

In addition to her parents, Annie was also preceded in death by her great grandson Ny’Ques Farlow. Annie will sorely be missed by all that knew and love her. Rest in the Arms of Jesus dear Annie...we love you!

The Bailey & Farlow family are extremely grateful for the many acts of kindness that has been extended to us after the passing of our loved one. Your prayers, call, cards, and
expressions of love have help to sustain us in moments of sadness. May God Bless each of you and continually shower His favor upon you.
